Do non believers like talking and responding to questions about God because they are angry?

I like talking about God because I’m “almost a believer.”

I’m not currently convinced there is a God, but I hope to be (if there is).

That said, I’ll be completely honest: I have felt angry after certain conversations with believers where it seems impossible to really connect—where my questioning gets written off as disrespect, arrogance, blasphemy, etc. and I walk away feeling unheard and looked down upon.

But the older I get, the more that frustration pushes me to do this—to keep working at communicating my experience as clearly as I can, always ready to hear good reasons that might convince me of God.
